Partner competitions! It is mind blowing to me what you will do for another human(s) My closest friends are the ones I’ve competed with➡️it’s next level dose of dopamine/serotonin/endorphins for me.

That is why I love group classes, you don’t always show up for yourself, but for your people🙌

Working as a MASON or singing karaoke somewhere🎶

🖤 Favorite gym memory?

It is definitely coaching. If I were to pick just one it would be in one of my first classes I coached, we had push-jerks programmed and one of the athletes that had been involved with the sport for some time said he just can not do them. He had tried many times and he just doesn’t get them. One cue, a little drill and five minutes later he was doing them. I knew in that moment I loved being a coach. The pride and happiness that comes from the people I get the opportunity to help fills my heart more than they will ever know.

Definitely coaching. Seeing the progress of athletes whether it’s a PR lift, getting double-unders, getting their first pull-up, or moving from step ups to jump ups. Watching everyday people reach their goals is PRICELESS and so fulfilling.

Oh, and finally hitting 405 on my DL after forever was pretty sweet too!💪
