MWF coach led classes will be a mix of strength and conditioning. You can expect to use dumbbells, kettlebells, and/or barbells for both pieces of class. All movements are easily scalable for any level. As a beginner, your focus will be on technique and consistency of movement before intensity.
Schedule: Mon | Wed | FriThis class is strength focused on the upper body. You can expect to see bench press, variations of chin up progressions, bicep curls and lots of accessory work. This is a great complement to the higher intensity work on MWF. If you are looking for that beach bod work, Tuesday is your day. Guns will be beach ready in no time.
Schedule: TueOur favorite class of the week! We get to work on weaknesses and imbalances while getting a great sweat. You can expect to see some variation of sled work, loaded carries, gymnastics skill work, and lots more. This is a lower intensity day to complement the high intensity days MWF.
Schedule: ThuSaturday's workout is always going to be a partner workout. Come with a partner or find one at class. All skill levels are welcome.

Boomers Bootcamp is a functional fitness program designed to help adults, age 60 or older, with life vitality, endurance, pain management, posture, flexibility, strength, and balance!
Big North Boomers is a partnership program between the Otsego County Commission on Aging and Big North Barbell.

The student athlete program will focus on both strength and conditioning for sports/life. The athletes will learn proper movement patterns before adding load or intensity to movement. Expect to see squatting, hinging, pressing, pulling, loaded carries, and plyometrics. This class will help build and maintain muscle in their off season or every day life.
Schedule:This class will work on both strength and conditioning teaching kids basic fundamental movements that will apply outside of the gym. Expect to see running, jumping, squatting, pressing, hinging, loaded carries, gymnastics work.

This class will be an introduction of movement patterns. The kids will learn to properly squat, hinge, jump as well as the basics of gymnastics and most importantly, PLAY!
